Meet The Founder
I’ve always been a jewelry girl. When I was younger, my grandma used to call me Zsa Zsa Gabor because I was always layering on jewelry. That love never left, and it still shapes so much of August Mae today. I think of her often while building this brand, and I know she would love this chapter of my life.
August Mae began with jewelry in Buffalo, New York, and is now making its way to Downtown St. Petersburg, Florida, with our first lifestyle shop in St. Pete’s EDGE District.
Our shop brings together everyday jewelry, permanent jewelry, personalized and engraved jewelry, apparel, accessories, home decor and gifts. Everything is thoughtfully selected to feel special, effortless and easy to make your own.
I’m hands on in every part of August Mae, from designing and sourcing jewelry to choosing the apparel, gifts and pieces that make it into the shop. My goal is to create a place filled with things you’ll actually wear, use, gift and love.
I’m also a fur mama, and animals have always been close to my heart. Giving back continues to be part of August Mae, with a portion of sales supporting animal rescue organizations.
From Buffalo to St. Pete, August Mae has grown, but the heart behind it hasn’t changed. I can’t wait to welcome you into our new home in Downtown St. Petersburg.
